I understand your idea and why you would want it, but cannot get behind the implementation of it. With a limited time per match(30 mins) it would simply not be worth it.
- Taking time to craft the camo in a match just to be killed while trying to collect the craftables or craft the camo only to be killed while crafting would cause people to be less inclined to do it. Especially if it only last the duration of the match.
- The use of shadows as a way to hide, if implemented correctly, will cause camo to be needed less.
- Creating a camo skin as a lootable is a lot less programming time, which means more time to program other features.
In your implementation, if it becomes too tedious just to be killed trying to complete or only viable for the single match, less people would take part in it which would equate to wasted time. Again, for those that do want the camo, the Devs could just make it a skin and then invest the extra time on other projects. Everyone wins.
EDIT: Late reply, but seeing as the thread was brought back up less than a week ago.. why not haha.
